Abridged Agenda

Meal Plan Order Form

Hello Delegates,

This year’s State Convention is at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa, 199 Woodcliff Dr., Fairport, NY 14450. The room rate during convention is $129.00 plus tax. The prices are good 3 days prior and 3 days after. The Resort Fee of $15.00 has been waived. There is complimentary parking and Wi-Fi. There is a 10% discount on golf and spa services. There are refrigerators in every room and microwaves are available based on availability.

This year we changed how you will pay for meals. In the past, the meals were controlled by the host county, and they were responsible for the menu selection and the price of the meals. We, the State Board, decided to take responsibility for the meals away from the host county. You will now pay for your meals directly to the State (NYRLCA). The prices for meals were becoming excessive, and we felt that by subsidizing the meals, we could hopefully encourage more people to participate in the meals offered at convention. We still have to meet the food’s minimum requirements, but you will now pay less for those meals. Please take part in this discounted offer and help us help you by making State Convention more affordable and enjoyable. The Meal Plan Form is available in this newsletter, and your State Officers will have these forms at your County Meetings as well. You will see that the prices are significantly reduced. We have given you the option to either order the whole meal plan (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches) or you can order only the breakfasts or only the lunches. You make the choice! Please let us know if you like the changes.

Brian Thompson, NYRLCA President
